Group Piano Class
There are no Song Sparrow groups offered for the school year 2020-21 due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic.
Song Sparrows
for ages 4-6
In the Song Sparrow class students enjoy playing piano together. They learn music theory by group games, singing and dancing. Benita lets her own teenage children perform different instruments in class to let them introduce young children to those instruments—always a special treat.
A piano at home is not required but helpful.
Class description:
Concentration, rhythm, ear & voice training
Introduction to music signs, rhythm notes and note names
Introduction to musical Instruments, including violin, cello, recorder, flute, guitar, trumpet, trombone, drums, saxophone and Orff instruments
The use of the piano will be gradually encouraged
Completion of “My First Piano Adventure: Lesson Book A”
Total cost for 14 classes: $ 370 per child incl. materials
Minimum of 3 students-maximum of 6 students
